We are excited to bring completely new format of judging.
We believe in a fair system that rewards vision, craft and creativity over status and recognition.
Only the best artists push the boundaries of what is possible and introduce new styles and elements. This is what underpins our VISION principle.
To win any of our accolades an artist needs to demonstrate true CRAFTMANSHIP with his or her tools.
Tattoo & Art Extravaganza brings together many great artists in the business. Those who wish to capture the judges’ interest must demonstrate their imagination and CREATIVITY.
The open exchange of ideas and the freedom of thought and expression are central to the aims and goals of the Tattoo & Art Extravaganza. The organisers of the Tattoo & Art Extravaganza, aim and commit to providing a harassment-free, accessible, and pleasant event experience with equity in rights for all.
We want every participant to feel welcome, included, and safe. Moreover, we will do our best to accommodate specific needs. We cannot promise to solve every issue, but will try our best.
If you feel that we have failed in our promise or you have been discriminated against by other participants, we would like to hear from you.
There will be approximately 5 -7 judges from different fields of art background, like photographers, art gallery workers and such like, including some international tattoo artists.
Judges are not allowed to ask who has done the tattoo. Judges are not allowed to discuss amongst each other the artwork.
Each judge will have 5 badges with Tattoo & Art Extravaganza logo. These badges will be progressively awarded to 5 favourite contestants. They can give maximum 2 badges to one contestant, if they think the work deserves it. Whoever has received the most badges is the winner.
